Conventions of a Film Trailer

After watching a few film trailers, I have put together a few 'conventions'.

A2 Coursework Brief

When looking at the briefs for our A2 coursework, as a group we decided on the promotional package for a new film. This is because our introduction to a film last year was successful and we really enjoyed doing it. Also all three of us wanted to develop our skills further and making a trailer is a good way to do this. 


A promotion package for a new film, to include a trailer, together with two of the following 
three options: 
 a website homepage for the film;  
 a film magazine front cover, featuring the film; 
 a poster for the film.


We decided that we will choose to produce a film magazine front cover featuring the film and a poster for our film out of the three options we have been given to allow us to show how our film will be marketed in two different ways.
