Busted - making a music video.

I really enjoyed making the busted video, it was a lot of work but also after dreading it it was quite fun. The filming involved quite a lot of waiting around and planning, but then when it was all finished and edited it was worth it. We had a few shots that we ended up having to film two or three times due to issues with the location (cars nearly hitting the camera), the camera (Abi not pressing record) and the busted boys (not being able to jump at the same time), but overall the shots look really effective. I think that there are a few things about making a music video that I hadn't thought about and doing this task made me realized how much work is actually involved, not only in the filming but in the planning and editing. I think that there are a few things that could've been done differently - like in the last scene we really could've done with some more people, as it looks a bit empty! I also didn't realized how difficult editing lip-syncing was - even after our total eclipse of the heart video, which I originally thought was quite simple, to move onto something involving more complex editing really made me realize what a difficult task it is. After doing this task I have decided that I do want to do a music video next year because it is fun, and looks really effective when everything is finished.
