A2 Coursework - deciding what to do.
Looking at the coursework briefs, we decided we wanted to produce a trailer. This is because we really enjoyed producing the film opening last year and wanted to do something along these lines again, but a trailer is something different that would challenge us further than what we have already learnt. We decided to do a trailer for 'Flashback 2', a sequel to our film last year. We did this because we had various ideas of where we wanted to take the film and where it could carry on too.
Lip Synching
Our Lip Synching task took about an hour to film, and an hour to edit. We decided on the song first, as it is a powerful song that everyone knows, so it would be quite funny. The three of us decided we would all be on camera, and take turns in filming to give us all a chance to do both parts, then we all edited different parts. I think our lip synch was sucessful as we are in time with the music, and we look as if we have emotion which fits with the style of the song. I think we could try to film each part twice if we do this again because one of the shots dropped a few frames which made it difficult to edit around as we hadn't got another copy, apart from that and learning the words before we go our lip synching was successful.
